Edward, Please read the documentation for your application server on how to configure HTTPS.
You've clearly been having trouble configuring CAS, uPortal, Tomcat, etc. for a while now and crowding the list with basic questions that you should either be able to look up in documentation or aren't CAS related. We're happy to help with questions when users help themselves and do their due diligence before asking us. If you continue to struggle with these basic components of CAS, uPortal, Tomcat, Java, etc. and have no local resources to assist you, I would recommend you look to commercial assistance from resources such as Unicon, one of our JASIG Commercial Affiliates (there are other commercial support entities also). Again, we're happy to help answer questions when users have done their due diligence before asking us for assistance. But I, and others on this list, are not primarily CAS support people. We also have job responsibilities that are not CAS support. Because of this, we can only provide limited support for CAS deployers and would like to save that time for questions that are much more complex in scope, and can't be answered by using tools such as existing documentation, Tomcat documentation, or Google search techniques. If you feel you've identified a spot in the CAS documentation that is lacking, please open a JIRA issue so that at a given point in time we can expand our existing documentation. Until that point, the existing mailing list archives and the documentation in the wiki should be sufficient to get you started. Thanks for your understanding. -Scott -Scott Battaglia PGP Public Key Id: 0x383733AA LinkedIn: http://www.linkedin.com/in/scottbattaglia On Tue, Jul 22, 2008 at 12:55 PM, Edward Chen <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > If so, how to modify my current configuration using to use HTTPS? > > Thanks, > > Edward > > Scott Battaglia wrote: > > The answer to my question then is NO, you're not running over HTTPS > > and THUS your single sign on won't work. > > > > Configure your Tomcat or whichever container you are using to use HTTPS. > > > > -Scott > > > > -Scott Battaglia > > PGP Public Key Id: 0x383733AA > > LinkedIn: http://www.linkedin.com/in/scottbattaglia > > > > On Tue, Jul 22, 2008 at 12:23 PM, Edward Chen <[EMAIL PROTECTED] > > <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]>> wrote: > > > > I don't quite understand your question.
