Having finally got Tomcat on CentOS 5.2 (thank Eitetsu) I am now trying
to deploy CAS with LDAP. The basic simple CAS authentication works and
I'm just trying to duplicate the Ubuntu set up I have that uses LDAP.
CAS is deployed from the war file only and I haven't rebuilt it.
However, I have added the two spring-ldap jar files to
cas-server-webapp-3.3/WEB-INF/lib. I'm not even in SS-hell yet as I
haven't gone through the certificate installation yet even though I know
CAS won't talk LDAPS in it's current format.

However, I have a problem that is more fundamental in that I cannot
start CAS with my LDAP configuration in. My deployerConfigContext.xml
has the same changes made to it that I did for CAS 3.2.1 on Ubuntui 8.04
but the logs imply that it hasn't found the definition for the
AuthenticatedLdapContextSource - cas.log contains:

2008-08-21 16:24:12,742 ERROR
[org.springframework.web.context.ContextLoader] - Context initialization
failed
org.springframework.beans.factory.CannotLoadBeanClassException: Cannot
find class
[org.jasig.cas.adaptors.ldap.util.AuthenticatedLdapContextSource] for
bean with name 'contextSource' defined in ServletContext resource
[/WEB-INF/deployerConfigContext.xml]; nested exception is
java.lang.ClassNotFoundException:
org.jasig.cas.adaptors.ldap.util.AuthenticatedLdapContextSource

The spring-ldap jar files are copies of those I used on Ubuntu namely
spring-ldap-1.2.1.jar & spring-ldap-tiger-1.2.1.jar and the download
from spring seems to contain the same versions. I have also made the
appropriate update to META-INF/maven/org.jasig.cas/cas-server-webapp/pom.xml

What step have I forgotten or is there something else I need to change
to get this to work with 3.3?

Thanks
