Gio, In order to use the Single Sign Out feature introduced in CAS 3.1.0, you need to update your CAS client to one that supports it. The Single Sign Out feature works by transmitting logout requests to every application that a user used while logged into CAS when the user has logged out of CAS.
I don't know what customizations you have made to your Java CAS client, however I would recommend looking into the latest JA-SIG CAS client.
