Cheers - but we don't have much control over the end web app I don't believe. I guess I should be more explicit at the start of my posting!
We have library electronic resources protected by a Shibboleth idp set up with CAS pointing to our portal. We want to grant anonymous access to these resources from walk in kiosks. Some of the resources require shibboleth authentication for ANY access. There is some discussion about shibboleth allowing this - https://spaces.internet2.edu/display/SHIB/IPIdPAuthN - but I was wondering how to get cas to recognize the kiosks. cheers Andrew Ralph Feller, afelle1 wrote: > > Organize your pages into protected and non-protected pages or you could > apply multiple filter mappings to individual pages instead of wildcarded > paths. > > > On 9/24/08 10:42 AM, "babraa" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > >> >> by checking their ip address and/or some generated http header value? >> cheers >> >> >> John Fereira wrote: >>> >>> babraa wrote: >>>> Hi - cheers for that. >>>> But if you have pages that require authentication for some users but >>>> not >>>> for >>>> others.....? >>> >>> How can you tell whether a user is someone that requires authentication >>> to access a specific page unless you authenticate who they are? >>> _______________________________________________ >>> Yale CAS mailing list >>> [email protected] >>> http://tp.its.yale.edu/mailman/listinfo/cas >>> >>> > > -- > Andrew R.
