Hi folks,
I could use some help as I'm a newbie to CAS, Single Sign On, ISAPI and the whole ball of wax. I'm trying to use an ISAPI filter on IIS to implement Single Sign On for an application, whose documentation indicated using an ISAPI filter. The ISAPI filter redirects to CAS/webauth successfully, but upon going back to the application's dll, it just sits at a login screen. I can see the ticket being sent back. The application has settings that need to be set in order for this to work and I plan on writing to the vendor of the application for support - but I was hoping this group could answer me a question; the application expects the server variable of HTTP_REMOTE_USER being set. Does anyone know how this gets set? Does IIS nab the username from the HTTP header to populate this variable, or does my ISAPI filter need to set it? Any information is most appreciated.
