This is an interesting question.
Even when using Spring Security, it is not that simple (if the
Webservice Servers application is part of CAS and doesn't have a
connection to the authentication Infos itself.
Could this be solved by a cas proxy ticket used in the webservice
servers application?

CASifying the web service is an exercise for the reader :-). It
depends on how you've implemented your web service. Some web
services can be CASified merely by using Spring Security. Some
require more effort.
