I'm looking for more thoughts on best practices for moving from a
relational structure to a column-oriented one. Cassandra is still
very weird to me, perhaps my mind has been ruined by relational
databases!

Expect a few more posts on Cassandra as we migrate more stuff over. I
think there are some interesting schema ideas that I haven't seen
anyone touch on.
