ListenAddress on node1 has to be an IP address that works for node1, and ListenAddress for node2 has to be an IP address that works for node2. Node2 can't listen on an IP address that belongs to node1 for the same reason I can't listen with your ears.

(In trying to build a cluster) none1 node2 both are config'd as <seed/> elements.
