Hi all One week from now, on 3/15, NH 2.1.0 Alpha1 will be released. For ActiveRecord, I'm planning to go side-by-side with this, releasing a corresponding version as soon as possible after NH.
To have these release options, ActiveRecord cannot have version 1.0. Confusion with older Castle releases would occur: "Do mean *Castle 1.0* RC3 or *ActiveRecord 1.0 *RC3?" As a result, I propose going for another version number. Since most committers have already voted making all projects 2.0, I'll stick with that numbering unless there are any complaints about it. There already 2 new release tags in donjon. *AR 2.0 Alpha 1* will be released shortly after 3/15 and *AR 2.0* is the target RTM. Other releases will be added as needed. What is left to do for AR 2.0? - Supporting NH 2.x features (AR-238, AR-236) - Fixing bugs reported in Donjon (AR-232, AR-210, AR-204, AR-188, AR-157, AR-154, AR-87). - Updating/completing documentation (AR-237) I'm going to do that in the order shown above.
