The reason I suggested obsoleting the Scheduler project is because of the whole reason of this email, project does not have a leader. Also, as I pointed out before the Scheduler API is very very similar to Quartz API, hence easy to convert, Quartz seems to be active, is well documented, I think it supports all the Scheduler features and probably more, supports plug-ins, ... This is just my opinion.
