Nick,

Yes, Quartz v1.0 supports Clustering (Fail-over and load balancing) see
http://quartznet.sourceforge.net/features.html

The reason I suggested obsoleting the Scheduler project is because of the whole
reason of this email, project does not have a leader.
Also, as I pointed out before the Scheduler API is very very similar to Quartz
API, hence easy to convert, Quartz seems to be active, is well documented, I
think it supports all the Scheduler features and probably more, supports
plug-ins, ...

This is just my opinion.

Cheers
John

John,

I haven't keep up with Quartz for a while now, per the motivation
(http://using.castleproject.org/display/Contrib/Castle.Components.Scheduler)
Quartz was missing in processing scheduling with clustering; is that something
that is available now in Quartz? Why specifically would you obsolete Scheduler
for Quartz?

Agree, we do need an integration between Quartz and Windsor.
But the Scheduler project should be obsoleted and replaced with Quartz.

To replace the implementations, we need a integration between the
Scheduler and Windsor, which the current impl on trunk already has.
