Hi there,
The issue IOC-ISSUE-191 was just created by Alessandro Giorgetti (agiorgetti).
Key: IOC-ISSUE-191
Summary: Enable Silverlight version to parse XML configuration files
Type: New Feature
Importance: Medium
Description:
I made a test to see the feasibility of this feature. I took out the
trunk code and modified the XmlInterpreter (and related classes) to use Linq To
Xml classes to read the config files.
In the end all the Castle related test pass (.net version) and a very quick and
extremely simple test made in Silverlight shows it to work.
So I think it can be done in the end.
My blog post with the full source code is here, if you are interested:
http://www.primordialcode.com/index.php/2010/01/22/castle-windsor-enabling-xml-configuration-files-silverlight/
I'll keep working on it in my spare time to make it less-invasive and take it
out of the core classes.
