To tell a bit more of the story, NHibernate jumped through a few hoops
to get client profile support:
1. The logger was abstracted so people can use things like
Common.Logging or NLog, which are available with client profile
support.
2. The HttpContext.Current.Items property is now accessed using
reflection. The code proposed for Castle.Core is actually an improved
version of the same code now in the NHibernate trunk. I plan on
providing some of the improvements back to the NHibernate project,
specifically around the System.Web assembly version determination.
3. The Oracle driver now uses reflection like many of the other drivers.
Now we're at the point where NHibernate.ByteCode.Castle is preventing
a distribution that works immediately with the client profile.
