I agree ActiveWriter is the "blessed" code generator for Castle
ActiveRecord.  However, ActiveWriter (including the recent VS2010
version) doesn't handle Northwind gracefully.  I ended up creating an
alternative Castle ActiveRecord code generator that supports most (but
not yet all) of the Castle ActiveRecord syntax.  The free version of
my code generator is pretty feature rich and should work just fine for
most convention oriented database designs.

Sorry for the direct plug, I've been trying to avoid doing that.  My
code generator is also limited to SQL Server only right now.
