you can run MR and classic WF on the same web application, as long as you
dont clash extensions.

in your case, as the blog is on an application of it's own, you should be
able to simply remove the MR httpHandler setting in the blog's web.config,
and you're done

don't forget share the blog with us, and keep it full with Castle goodness
... :)
