I am writing a system that connects to a current EMR provided by
another vendor. I have written an AR implementation that allows me to
easily access this EMR system via AR and have overridden the update
commands to ensure nothing can be written to the vendor's database.

I need to be able to use the EMR data to create scheduling information
and persist this to another database. I have used Synonyms and setup
access to the EMR through the AR class, and am able to build the
schedule and link it without a problem UNTIL I attempt to persist the
class. When I do this, I get an error saying it can't update one of
the tables provided by the EMR. It's good that it isn't updating the
EMR database, but I still need to be able to write the schedule to the
Schedule DB.

Here is the layout:

AHT_Facility has many AHT_Residents

AHT_Residents have many NHS_Schedules

NHS_ is in the "Schedule" Database
AHT_ is in the "AHT EMR" Database

NHS_ has synonyms pointing to the Facility and Resident tables in AHT_
NHS_Schedules uses the BelongsTo attribute to connect to the AHT data.

What do I need to do to allow it to write to the schedules without
attempting to update AHT?

Thank you for your help!
