Ayende, Thanks for your reply! I'm not sure if I understand you correctly...? You mean we should take a specific string as a "null" string? If you meant this then this would be exactly what we have implemented as a workaround... ;-) (We are using "$$$" as an empty string and we're converting it forth and back in the DB abstraction layer.) So, all we have to do then is upgrading the "workaround" to "solution"... ;-)
