I noticed the problem with 5.0 EAP and they promised it was fixed in the RTM the RTM did not fix it, then they promised it would be fixed in one of the 5.1 EAP releases which did not happen 5.1 hit RTM and it's still bad. and they keep close the bugs as INVALID so, please do go ahead and bug them on these two issues. If you could also setup a simple project with HelloWorld view that is runnable by hitting F5 in VS2010 (or VS 2008 - the same problem happen there with R#5) it would be great.
