Perhaps... perhaps not. Generally, we used to do an update to trunk version every 4-6 months or so. If we happened to hit a bug which is important for us (like not so far ago with the fluent registration and startable facility not starting components), and it is fixed on the trunk - then we certainly would like to upgrade.

Also, the older is the version we're running on - the harder it would be to us to upgrade when we finally decide, so I'm not very fond of the idea to run the older version for 3 years straight without the upgrade. Then again, maybe we should schedule the .NET 4 migration in a year from now - it is just hard to say ATM, sorry.

Vladimir,
Would you update to Windsor 3 while staying on .net 3.5?

Hi,

sorry to jump into the thread like this, but we for example are not
going to switch our servers' runtimes to .NET 4 anytime soon, which
means any our project (new or existing regardless) will still use .NET
3.5.

We can use the older version of course, the question is - will there
be a person responsible for porting bugfixes (at least important ones)
to the 3.5-compatible branch?
