Hi Tim,

Which MR version are you using? I've just tried it against 2.0 and couldn't
replicate your problem.

To disable the use of extensions on urls globally you can set
UseExtensions = false
To do this add the following to your web.config file:

  <monorail smtpHost="smtpserver" smtpPort="25">
    <url useExtensions="false" />
  </monorail>I hope this helps

Cheers
John

Subject: UrlHelper link differences when including area?

Adding an 'area' to the url helper seems to add the .rails extension.
How can I get a link to a controller in an area without the extension?

$UrlHelper.Link("View Data", "%{controller='$sensor.DataType',
action='summary', querystring='sensor=$sensor'}")
Generates a link to: /simple/summary?sensor=S0001

Whereas
$UrlHelper.Link("View Data", "%{area='data',
controller='$sensor.DataType', action='summary', querystring='sensor=
$sensor'}")
Generates a link to: /data/simple/summary.rails?sensor=S0001
