Is it really? From what I remember this error happens when you do
something like:

[AR]
public class User : ARBase<User>
{
  private ISet _roles = new ListSet();

  public ISet Roles
  {
    get { return _roles; }
    set { _roles = value; }
  }

  public ISet Permissions
  {
    get { return _roles; }
    set { _roles = value; }
  }
}

You might want to post it on the NHibernate forum, though.
