Hi Richard,

Yes I know it's not on topic, but I so that the MonoRail Framework has Security Service.
Can anyone give me some examples how to use the SecurityManager, Roles and Authorization?

Mircea,

  1. Though we may have experience with it, it's not really "On Topic".
  2. You didn't really give enough information to allow for a pointed reply:
    1. Are you saving the authentication in a session variable?
Yes, I'm saving the logged user into session

    1. Are you using a custom IIdentity & IPrincipal object?
                       No

    1. Are you using forms authentication?

                       Yes

    1. Are you using the new ASP.NET 2.0 Membership Management providers?

                        No
Thanks
Mircea

I think this doesnt have nothing to do with MonoRail. You can still
control authentication with IIS, by, for example, using NTLM and then
having a single log on.
