I digged through the castor docs in the last days and had a lot of problems.
- the docs on how to use mapping.xml are scattered throughout different
files, one that describes the behaviour with XML import/export and one that
In my opinion, there should be a seperate document that describes how to use
mapping.xml in different contexts. At least, such a document should be
included in the JDO section
I couldn't find anything on how to implement 1:n mappings and beyond (n:m?)
- I couldn't find any information on the LDAP binding, except that it is
supposed to exist. There is no entry in the navigation bar, not even an
author is mentioned. Is it just a concept?
- I couldn't find anything on how the database providers (oracle, mysql, and
so on) work, how one could extend these, and whether the LDAP driver is also
one of these (??)
- many examples use an older XML Schema definition than the recommendation
of May 5. Could you update that?
I would really like to contribute to the quality of the docs, as soon as I
understand the whole thing better.
In the meantime, I would suggest to install an interactive manual, just like
the one from PHP (i.e.
http://www.php4.org/manual/en/language.constants.php). Is that possible?

Ok.
So I was wrong.
I will try the XSD file and the SourceGenerator to generate my data
classes and use JDO to presist them.
(I will try it towmorrow, it's 19h25 here in Switzerland.)
Thx for your help.
