your problem can be solved by the dsml package in the castor
library. it gives us the facility to upload an ldap server directly from
dsml and to export the ldap database in dsml format. check it out.

I am a developer looking into the problem of converting LDAP data into some
sort of XML data possibly DSML or similar. Essentailly, I wish to convert
user lists into data to display in a web form and adding then into an SQL
database.. Would Castor do this for me?
