How about: We're very busy...and we try to handle everyone's question,
but it just takes time...and sometimes over the weekend questions might
get lost among the flurry of e-mail sent on monday morning.
As far as using Castor XML to fill an existing object: This is not yet
supported, though we do plan on allowing the "Root" element to be mapped
to an existing object.
As far as you using elements as the IDREF...no this is not
supported...only attributes can be IDREF at this time.
As far as using interfaces..it should be possible, but this will require
a test case to know for sure. I've never tried it. I don't currently
have time right now to look into it. If you wish to supply a
short-as-possible test case, I can look into it when I have a chance.
As far as you not having it working as described it in a previous
e-mail...I can't help you there..I already sent you my mapping file for
my example which is working fine for me. I can't really fix something if
I can't see that it's broken.
Sorry for the inconvenience...
Thanks,
--Keith
