Yes we did, I have been reposting previous patches which haven't made
it into CVS.

ORO has a more robust API and supports perl like regexp operations.

Castor could support both since you can configure which class gets
used to implement pattern restriction regexp matching is configurable
via a property.  Let the user decide. :-)
