Well, since nobody on the list seems to be running into the same problems as
I am, I've decided to bite the bullet and dive into the Castor code myself
to fix things.
As a dedicated XP'er I feel the pressing need to run the unit tests. But I
can't figure out how to do that.
The "ant tests" target seems to only build the tests not run them.
Running "tests.sh" gives little suggestions, and after digging about the
wild guess "tests.sh Main" seemed to do something useful. Of course the
script is spewing lots of errors because I don't have a database running.
(I have the capability to test using PostgreSQL.)
I've searched the archive but any combination of words I come up with leads
to zillions of unhelpful messages.
If someone can clearly explain the setup and execution of the tests, I
promise to feed that back into the docs.
