Hi castor developers/users (mainly XML, sorry for the noise on the JDO
side),
The first usable version of the Castor Testing Framework has finally
just been released. I am aware that I am talking about this framework
for now about one year but since we are approaching a major release with
new features, we want to be sure that we have a reliable piece of
software and a proof that Castor is doing what it claims to achieve.
Besides, as you may have noticed we bug people to send us a little test
case that demonstrate their problem and I know that it is often boring
to write this test case. Hopefully the CTF will present a very
straightforward way to write those test cases and I hope you'll use it
;). For these reasons, I thought it was the right time to do this
release.
This release includes:
- new version of the framework.
- documentation (paper and web-site).
- test cases (major tests and regression tests), not many for
the moment.

Be warned that it is only the first public release so all is far from
being perfect and I count on you to improve the project by giving some
feedback (on the documentation -typos, points not clear,...- as well as
on the framework itself -is it easy to use?, is it boring?, are there
bugs inside!!!?, can it make my coffee?).
