I have it running with 9i on Linux, using the drivers that come with 9i.
That's your basic problem everywhere. For example, WebLogic's drivers are
for 8i, so they need to be superceded by the ones in the 9i installation.
Same issues apply to Castor and any other JDBC client accessing 9i.
