Has anybody done some performance measurements with the xml binding of
castor for a large number of records (> 100000)?
We are thinking of using Castor to create JAVA-Objects from XML-Files. This
XML-Files will contain a large number of records (> 100 000), each record
will have
about 25 attributes.
The alternative way is to use directly a SAX-Parser and to write the data
binding by hand. Will this be faster or is there any other reasonable
solution for this problem (DOM is probably not the right way to go).
Thanx
Tilmann
