Hello Bruce,
improve the examples by explaining what which example does / what can be
found in the differend examples. Now you have to peek through all the
examples to search for something you looking for.
Where is the JDO example that makes use of key-generator?
Where is the JDO example that uses long transactions?
The castor web menu + pages are also difficult to find the info you are
looking for. Related parts appear at complete differend pages, without links
to each other.
Exanple:
- 'Advanced JDO -> Trans. & Locks' vs 'Advanced JDO -> Long Trans.'
- 'JDO -> Using JDO'
where to find info about how to setup the mapping? Can be found in 'XML ->
Support XML Mapping'
after reading that, where is the JDO mapping specific info? I didn't find
it until now!
JDO && Mapping:
- tag map-to attribute table explained
- tag field can contain the tags description, sql, xml, and ldap, where
are those explained?
In the page 'Advanced JDO -> Long Trans.' the problem is explained and it's
sollution. But not how it
should be implemented. The interface TimeStampable is never mentioned. Or
the creation of a General
JDO class that should implement it and how the related interface methods are
implemented? Does the
xsd source generator create them as it sees that the interface TimeStampable
is used?

What would you like to see as far as documentation and tutorials?
Please let us know so that we can improve those things.
BTW, there are examples for both Castor JDO and Castor XML in
src/examples.
