Hi Bruce,

The respond of Verhagen, Tjeerd is quit representative of my own trouble
of getting into castor. On the website I am not sure where I will find
the appropriate information, like the <sql > tags and <xml> tags. But
with time I start to know where I already saw information about stuff I
search for.
As for the examples page it only explains how to make it running, that's
all. A castor starters guide or something like that is missing.
Something like the examples but more like a walkthrough, explaining what
we want to do the files one should create and then write the mapping and
the test class to explain the different functionalities of castor. For
the moment I read the examples sourcecode, guess what it does and go
search the website and listarchives to find back the explanations about
the different xml tags and so on..., the other way round would be easier
for newbies.

But it's a newbies problem, it's only three days I am looking at castor
and what can be done with it,

But still it's a nice tool,

Have a nice day,
Xavier, cosyns
