I personally used only a two-table approach, but a single table approach might likely 
work.

I don't get your point here - you first say you know it supports inheritance - and 
then you question it again? Or do you mean "multiple inheritence= by polymorphy? If 
so, thats more a java issue I believe. Maybe I have to update my OO dictionary....
