H, I wrote an ugly workaround for the problem mentioned, but I ran into the next one. So I'm not sure if it is what is needed.
(The diff as attachment is reversed. I got thrown out of the lab before
I could make a proper one)

I don't see why -*-my-*- attribute should be abstract. it is very real
to me. And if i could be convinced; why would the Descriptor class try
to instantiate it? I'll try to isolate this one tomorrow morning.
