Andreas, It is not possible out of the box to get Castor to perform an XML dump of the entire database. Also, Castor can only be used with BMP. There is no CMP impl for any app server that uses Castor. If all you need an XML dump of the database, why not just use Oracle XSU (http://technet.oracle.com/tech/xml/oracle_xsu/content.html)? It will generate an XML document from an SQL query or a JDBC ResultSet.
