The root directory in JBoss is ...\bin so you can use relative path like: "../server/default/conf/defmapping/mapping.xml" when you want to load the files.

The problem is that the mapping.xml and database.xml can't be found ... and I don't really desired to do a JNDI lookup to get a ref to this unless I need to. Is it possible to deploy a servlet solution to JBoss and get the JDO engine running without an InitialContext or EJB ? TIA, Peter _________________________________________________________________ Internet access plans that fit your lifestyle -- join MSN. http://resourcecenter.msn.com/access/plans/default.asp ----------------------------------------------------------- If you wish to unsubscribe from this mailing, send mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of: unsubscribe castor-dev ----------------------------------------------------------- If you wish to unsubscribe from this mailing, send mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of: unsubscribe castor-dev
