Ohh, whoops. I did miss that, foot in mouth. I would still like to see this changed for other users out there that don't compile castor themselves and just grab the jars. Is this possible? I know the first time I grabbed the jars, I had an exception and just wanted to look at code but couldn't because the exception line numbers weren't numbered.

So I think you missed something in (Keith's resending of) Bruce's reply:

Now you can override this debug flag by creating a file named
castor-build.properties in your home directory containing the following:

main.opt.debug=true

Please note the "in your home directory" part. You put the file wherever user.home resolves to on your system. This shouldn't be overwritten when you do a new checkout from CVS.
