1. Is there a way to run Castor XML's source genrator on Java 1.4.0
_without_ using Xerces 1.4.0 as suplimentary library?
2. Does the Castor-XML runtime library depend on other Xerces 1.4.0
specifics?
Looking at the sources I found out that the class
org.exolab.castor.util.LocalConfiguration is using the class
org.apache.xml.serialize.XMLSerializer which is not present in the Xerces
implementation boundled with JDK1.4.x (Xerces 2 i think).
I could live with generating sources using xerces 1.4 but it would not be
possible to ship xerces 1.4 with my app as it is already using xerces 2
