Hi Rhett, Keith, I tried the patch, it worked out well for all but 2 of my enumerations. It's a big help so I think we should see this in the next subsubrelease if possible. I wil post a comment to the bug alltough I am a real Bugzilla-newbee. What should I do exactly?
The first enumeration the patch didn't work for looks like "bla", "blubb", "23foo", "123bar", "1234". But I didn't debug it yet. Any idea? The second one contains German Umlaut characters like \u00DD (German Ã), \u00EF (Ã) and \u00F5 (Ã). The encoding in the xml headline is set to UTF-8 so I wonder why the source generator creates final Strings in the java class containing funny chars like [linksbÃ%ndig] instead of [linksbÃndig] (I'm not exactly sure about the 2 funny chars, sorry). Do I have to tell the source generator about the UTF-8 encoding of my XSD? It would be nice if it were, though -- if you try it out and it works for you, please consider posting a comment to the bug or castor-dev indicating that you find it useful. Maybe that will help move the process along. | | Rhett | ----- Original Message ----- From: "Rhett Sutphin" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Saturday, October 25, 2003 7:08 AM Subject: Re: [castor-dev] source generator: field names of numeric enumeration elements | Hi Ulf, Keith, | | Before you file that enhancement request, take a look at | | http://bugzilla.exolab.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1245 | | It's a similar RFE -- with patch! It does at least part (and maybe all, I don't remember) of what Ulf asked for. | | Rhett | ----------------------------------------------------------- If you wish to unsubscribe from this mailing, send mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of: unsubscribe castor-dev
