Hi
I have this problem too (open gis gml schema, version 2.1.2,
http://schemas.opengis.net/gml/2.1.2/geometry.xsd). I've read the section
3.4 of "xml Schema Part 1: Structures". In section 3.4.6 in the sub section
"Schema Component Constraint: Derivation Valid (Restriction, Complex)" you
can read the following line:
1 The {base type definition} must be a complex type definition
whose {final} does not contain restriction.
I'm not sure if I understand the xml schema spec correctly (it's a very long
and complex document...), but it seems that castor is right (according to
the above sentence). It is very interesting that some xml tools validate the
document without error (for instance XML Spy, MS Visual Studio .Net).
Because I can't change the schema (obviously), I'd like to known, how I
could work around the problem. Any suggestions? Would it be possible to
disable this check?
Any help is appreciated
