Hi James, What you get for an error message is basically all there is, Castor doesn't have a way to increase or decrease the verbosity to the error messages.
Usually Castor will give you the element hierarchy below the error message, you should see something like: XPATH: root/foo/bar If you are not getting meaningful enough error messages and would like to see something more meaningful, you can open up an enhancement request at http://bugzilla.exolab.org. Please be sure to provide a simple test case which demonstrates the issue.
