My name is Nicol�s and I am started to use castor to serialize object in an academic
project. After using it a little I notice that an exception occurs when I have String
with characters like �, �, �, ... It seems to me that it could be a problem with the
encoding. So, I test different encodings before marshaling. And (In Windows) the
problem was solved with this line "m.setEncoding("ISO-8859-1");" (m is the
Marshaller).
Now I test the application in Solaris 8 and characters like � are not saved correctly.
When I load the document again these characters are not preserved.
�Any help?
