Regarding XML arbitrary mapping to existing XML, Castor seem the No 1
Not correct when working against schema, XML-Beans seems better, JAXB maybe?

Regarding OJB - Castor-JDO

The fact that OJB going to support JDO JCP standard is an advantage!

I'm sorry to said, the only way now for Castor-JDO to survive is either become JDO
compliance or go other direction like to Virtual Database segment.(Aggregation of datasource)
, liquid data like of bea etc).  LDAP support as a source (not as import)
in this schema will give it a new life!

Something that is not supported by JDO itself so much!

Subject: [castor-dev] Castor vs. OJB

Hi everyone,

I am currently evaluating Castor and OJB for use in my application.  I have seen some of the differences between the two but can anyone provide his or her opinion on which is better or at least better suited for different scenarios or applications?

Much appreciated,

Alan
