What does your mapping file look like, and what problem do you see? From the
bug report, it sounds like you can do it, but the big portion of the work is
on the object side, rather than in the db, mapping file, or in castor. We
had to do something like that in our project. We used castor to load and
store the objects, but we did the relationship management on the object
side. When we did it right, castor would handle the loading and the storing
very well.

Unfortunately, Castor doesn't directly support internal self-relations. 
This means you can't have a menu that contains other menus without using 
an association class.
