You don't have to rebuild the jar to use the workaround listed, you can
simply place a copy of the castor.properties in your classpath ahead of
the jar file.
You could also use the CVS version of Castor which contains a built-in
workaround for the issue, in that case you'll need to build the jar, but
it's pretty easy to do, just run the build.bat or build.sh script.
