I'm glad to see that you figured it out. It would be great if you
could populate that test and contribute it to the project. Here's
a doc on the current JDO tests that might help you get started:

I assure you that implementing additional functions and progressing
the phases will continue. There were plans for refactoring the OQL
engine to make use of ANTLR, but that plan is currently on hold
because it is being trumped by some other work that uses ANTLR and
hopefully will be brought into the Castor Project to solve a few
big issues. I'm hoping that his will happen this Summer.
