Hi,
We've managed to get Castor working on SUN1 appserver 7
check the following:
1. which servicepack do you use, some issues with classloaders on sp1 and
sp2, we currently use sp3
2. which Java version do you use. JDK 1.4 has some packages built in, but
are not the latest releases. To be sure to use the version you want, we
moved to the "endorsed" function. This is an explicit call for your
classloader to load this first...
ex. -Djava.endorsed.dirs=C:/Sun/AppServer7/jdk/endorsed
Put the version of Xerces you want to use in this path...
3. Check your Castor version. We are using an bit old version (0.9.21),
i'm not sure if this is an issue.
