Title: Marshalling with a mapping file
Hi Jerome,

I am not sure yet if this one is a bug or an enhancement request. Can you please post a code sample that demonstrates the problem and log it in bugzilla (bugzilla.exolab.org)?

Thanks,

Arnaud

Subject: [castor-dev] Marshalling with a mapping file

Hello,

My question may concern directly Keith Visco.

I've defined a mapping file and wrote in it a part of my java classes.
For the remaining classes, I want to let Castor introspect them during marshalling.
The fact is these remaining classes extends the classes that are defined in the mapping file.

At the moment, I can't make the marshalling work in such a way.
However, all is working fine if I write all classes in the mapping file, so without using the Castor's introspection.

Consequently, (let say classA extends classB),
it seems when Castor introspects classA, it introspects classB as well without searching if classB is defined in the mapping file.

This kind of working would be very usefull due to the way our product deals with Castor.

Could you help me ?
Thank you very much
