However, it doesn't work - we're not getting enough code coverage, and though it hit one bug, it didn't hit the second as it's an unusual case.
I'll write a set of tests for set/get/add/is methods separate from the rest, into a separate mapping file, and undo my current spate of work; all it did was make everything more complicated, without actually testing the intended behavior.
