Greetings, I have an element that contains text data inside of it:
bla bla bla bla .. When I unmarshalling xml data with castor (0.9.5.3) I detect that it was ignoring badly the white spaces. For instance, the following XML: plenty of text here ... problem after THIS WORD ... more text In debug, I saw that castor called several times the event "#characters" when reading the text. However, somehow it's ignoring the following blank spaces after the word "THIS" and/or it's ignoring the blank spaces before "WORD"!! castor debug: .. #characters: ... problem after THIS #characters: WORD ... more text .. The final result when I get the data form the element is wrong because it gives the following result: "plenty of text here ... problem after THISWORD ... more text" There is no space between "THIS" and "WORD" !! This white space shouldn't be ignored. The workaround for me is disabling the ignoring blank spaces, but is just a bad work around. I'm reporting this to you because I think it is a bug.
