only for info, i have not cocoon and castor 0.8.11 running.
The problem i faced before was related to the portlets. This not work
correctly
wirh castor XML 0.8.11. Fortunatly my project not use portlets at all
so i commented this service in cocoon.xconf and everything works fine now.
the exception was:
